On 13 October 2007, The Salvation Army organized the “Hong Kong & Macau O! Day” - the first of its kind cross-cities orienteering competition and fundraising event in Hong Kong and Macau.  Participants dashed into the streets from Golden Bauhinia Square and scattered to search the checkpoints. The orienteering race was joyfully completed.  Some of the teams stayed behind in Macau to celebrate their successful teamwork and some toured around after the event.
