今年克己運動將於2008年4月1日至6月30日期間舉行，主題延續為「克己關懷•愛無疆界」。而所籌得款項，一半將會用作支持本軍在盧旺達區域及南美東地域（阿根廷、巴拉圭、烏拉圭）的事工；另外一半的捐款則留用於港澳軍區以支持國內扶貧發展項目之用。

愛無疆界」步行籌款
克己運動「愛無疆界」步行籌款亦已定於五月一日的勞動節假期（星期四）舉行，時間為上午九時至中午十二時，地點為山頂廣場，步行路線由山頂廣場出發，沿夏力道、盧吉道折返（大約需要一小時）。目的是透過一戶外籌款活動，讓本軍總動員能夠參與其中，共襄善舉。此活動不單鼓勵各單位及部隊的弟兄姊妹、同工、會員及學生參加，更希望參與者邀約親朋好友一同出席這個難得的親子及聯誼活動。

The fundraising activities for the Self Denial Appeal 2008 will be held from 1^st April to 30^th June this year, under the theme “Reach out in Love”. Fifty percent of the income to be raised in this year’s Self Denial Appeal will be for supporting the Army’s work in the Rwanda Region and the South America East Territory (Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay), while the remaining fifty percent of the proceeds will be retained in the Hong Kong and Macau Command to support China development projects.

"Reach out in Love" Walkathon
A themed fundraising events – “Reach out in Love” Walkathon will be held on 1st May 2008 (public holiday) from 9:30am to 12:00pm at The Peak Galleria, the route will be from The Peak Galleria to Harlegh Road, Lugard Road, and return to The Peak Galleria (approx. 1 hour). This activity not only gives us opportunities to exercise our bodies, but also helps raise funds for the Self Denial Appeal.
